Application

Restricting access to storage areas
Plastic seals are applied to archive rooms, display storage or vaults to detect unauthorised access and support internal audits
Securing crates during transport or restoration
Seals protect artefact crates and containers while they are moved for conservation, loans or temporary exhibitions.
Tracking movement of sensitive items
Serialised seals help monitor the transfer of valuable or fragile objects between buildings, lenders or departments.
Marking sealed showcases or display cases
Security seals are used on closed display systems to confirm cases were not opened between inspections or during off-hours.
Supporting access control during special events
Temporary seals can be used to secure restricted zones or cabinets during events, filming or after-hours activities.
For museums, castles and heritage sites, plastic pull-tight security seals such as Sheriff are used to protect access points, monitor movement of artefacts and maintain accountability during handling and display. These seals offer a discreet but tamper-evident method of control without damaging historical environments.
Sheriff seals are available in multiple colours and formats, with options for serial numbering, barcodes and printed identifiers. They are lightweight, easy to apply and suitable for both public-facing spaces and back-of-house operations.
